Add the flour, sugar and dried yeast into a mixing bowl

Combine 150ml of hot water with 150 ml of cold water (300ml total) in a jug. This will make the water the right temperature to activate the yeast

Once the garlic bread is cooked, remove from the oven, slice it and enjoy! * This garlic bread goes really well with my tomatoe pasta recipe, however it is a great treat on its own!

Add the salt and the oil to the water mixture and stir

Pour the water mixture into the bowl of dried ingredients (flour, sugar and yeast) and stir together using a wooden spoon

When the ingredients are combined, knead the dough mixture for 10 minutes. If the dough is too sticky, add some more flour. This will not affect the recipe

Once you're happy with the consistency of the dough, place it back in the mixing bowl, cover with cling film and leave to rise for 1 hour

After 1 hour, mix the chopped garlic, vegan butter and Italian herbs together in a small bowl

Split the dough into your required amounts. This recipe makes 2 large, 3 medium or 4 small garlic breads!

Get your dough to it's desired shape/size, and place onto a baking tray. Once this is done, you can add the garlic butter you have made * I found it helps to add a small amount of flour to the baking tray to stop the dough from sticking!

Place in the oven for approximately 15 minutes at 200°
