Remove the outermost leaves of the artichoke, cut the stem, wash them well and cut into halves.

We rub half a lemon on each of the halves (otherwise they will oxidize and become ugly).

In a saucepan, heat the 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the tablespoon of flour over very low heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.

After these 5' add the lemon juice and the artichokes to the water saucepan.

Let them cook over very low heat for 20 minutes. I put the lid on so that they are also steamed and remain very soft. 😉
