First, put the pitted dates in 90 ml of boiling water. Let them soak while you make the cake.

Beat the rest of the ingredients in a food processor. I also added a dash of vanilla essence and a pinch of salt.

When the dough is homogeneous, beat the dates until it has a honey-like texture and add it to the cake batter. Mix again and when it is well blended, transfer to a greased or greaseproof paper lined pan to prevent sticking.

I also added chocolate chips in this step (I'll leave it there... 🤪) and put sesame seeds on top. You can put whatever you want to decorate! Your imagination is up to you 🌈

It would only remain to bake for 45 min 🤗.

Alternativas‼️ you can use instead of spelt flour, rye or oat flour and instead of dates, you can put banana. The thing is to sweeten as naturally as possible 😌.
