Homemade bread made from 100% whole wheat spelt flour

Warm the water (300 ml) and dilute 10 grams of baker's yeast (dry yeast) in it. If we use fresh yeast we would have to use a little more than double the amount of our yeast.

Mix all the ingredients. - 500 gr of spelt wheat flour. - 10 gr of salt - 30 ml of olive oil - Previous mixture of yeast and water

Knead for about 5-6 minutes until the dough is uniform and without lumps. We make a ball and leave it in a bowl in which we have previously spread a few drops of olive oil. Cover with plastic wrap and a cloth on top, leave it until it doubles its volume in a place without current (we put it in the oven, without turning it on😂).

When it has doubled in volume, turn the bowl out onto the table. We make some folds towards the inside as if they were petals. We made 5-6. Turn the dough over and make the shape of the bread. Place the dough on the baking tray, cover it again with the film and the cloth, and leave it in the oven until it doubles its volume again (1'5-2 hours).

After this time, sprinkle a pinch of flour on top and make the cuts. With the oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake 30 minutes heat up and down. It will depend on each oven.

Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack, cut into slices when cool.
