To make the flax egg, put the ground flax seeds in a glass with the very hot water. Beat with a fork and let stand 5 minutes until it is gelatinous.

In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Add the flax egg you made, the date paste, the melted coconut oil and the vegetable drink. Mix well and add more vegetable drink if necessary, depending on the type of flour.

Place a non-stick pan over medium heat with a little coconut oil or EVOO. Pour ½ cup of the mixture for each pancake. When bubbles appear on the pancake flip it over, cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Repeat with all the pancakes.

To make the sauce, put the peanut butter and coconut oil in a bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds until it becomes more liquid. Then add the cocoa and mix well.

Serve the pancakes with the sauce and banana slices.
