Incorporate the chocolate in small pieces and stir so that it is in all the dough. Now we have them ready for the oven. The dough is not manageable, it is quite doughy and sticky, you can not mold it with your hands.

We put a tray with baking paper and we take the mixture with a large spoon. We put them on the paper with some separation because they will be swollen by the baking soda. We put them in the oven at 180° 8-10 minutes.

When they are ready, take them out and place them one by one on a wire rack so that they cool and do not stay wet. The texture is like a sponge cake. They are not particularly sweet, but we love them at home. Now if you want to dip them in a little coffee or however you like. This time I made them like this but other times I add other spices like ginger, or I change the chocolate for raisins.
