Soak the dates in hot water, take them out of the water after about 10 minutes and remove the stone. In the meantime, turn on the oven at 170° to preheat it.

Peel and chop 2 apples and mash together with the dates.

Beat the 3 eggs and mix with the apple and date paste.

Add the yogurt and oil and mix.

Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Pour into a mold.

Peel and slice the other apple and decorate the top of the cake.

Bake in the oven for 35-45 min depending on the oven. Keep watching and when it has risen well (not before 25 min.) go and prick it to check that it is done.

Let it cool before serving, although with a hot spot it is very good.
