Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking pan. Soak the dates in warm water for 15 minutes.

Crush well, with the help of a powerful food processor, the dates, the whole orange (unpeeled and cut into quarters) and the eggs.

Add the room temperature butter and yogurt and mix well.

Add the wholemeal spelt flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix until well combined.

Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C, until a toothpick comes out clean.

When it is ready, let it cool on a wire rack. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and pour it over the cake.

Let it cool to harden the chocolate and it is ready.
