Cut the red cabbage and cook it for half an hour, drain and reserve some of the cooking broth. Fry the chopped onion, the bacon and the apple separately. When it is ready, add the red cabbage and sauté everything, add salt and red wine, sauté and let the alcohol evaporate from the wine and add a little of the reserved cooking broth. Apart the other apple cut into wedges without the skin and in a bowl with just a little water, cover a little and put in the microwave for a short time just to cook. Add to the red cabbage before serving as decoration.
