Preparaci贸n de la receta

For the apple base 馃崗 : 馃挍 2 Granny Smith apples (the green and tart ones). 馃挍 juice of half a lemon 馃崑. 馃挍 Cinnamon and Sweetener to taste, (1 tablespoon of date paste in my case).

-Peel the apples and cut into wedges of similar size. Add them to a saucepan with the lemon juice, cinnamon and sweetener. Stir well, cover and cook over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes. Until they are soft but retain their shape.

For the crumble : 馃挍 1/2 cup #singluten-free rolled oats. 馃挍 1/8 cup flour/15 grams. 馃挍 25 grams butter or EVOO. 馃挍 Sweetener to taste (the other tablespoon of date paste).

-Mix the crumble ingredients in a bowl with the help of your hands or a spatula. -Pour the apples and the caramel they have formed in the pan into a baking dish. -Top with the oat mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 170掳C (350掳F). -Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the oatmeal is toasted.

The traditional recipe adds a warm "custard" when serving. As a cool alternative, I added Alpro's coconut yogurt.
