In a saucepan cook the basmati rice. Pour twice as much water as rice and when the water is boiling lower the temperature to the minimum, cover the pan and leave it for 15 minutes.

Fry the finely chopped garlic and when it begins to brown add the onion.

Once the onion is poached, add the sliced mushrooms.

When the water from the mushrooms evaporates, add the spinach and corn and salt and pepper to taste.

When the rice is ready, add it to the frying pan with the vegetables and stir it a couple of times to mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
