Peel and chop the garlic and spring onion.

Put a frying pan on the heat with half a tablespoon of olive oil and add the garlic.

Let it cook for a few seconds to release its aroma and add the chives and dates.

Cook until the spring onion softens. Avoid burning, keeping it hydrated by adding splashes of water as it dries out, until it is soft and almost transparent.

Add the blackberries and mash them a little with a fork to extract their juice.

Let it cook for a few minutes and add the oat drink.

Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.

Blend, strain and reserve the sauce.
