Heat the oil while we grate the tomato and onion. Peel the garlic cloves and fry them with the tomato and onion. When we see that it is well fried add the paprika, lower the heat a little and fry a little. Add the water (1 liter approximately), the laurel and the cumin. Peel and chop the carrot and the beans. When the water begins to boil we put them to cook. Add salt. After 10 - 15 minutes we add the chopped potatoes. We put to cook the eggs in a saucepan. When we prick the potatoes and they are tender we put the hake cut in portions in the broth, putting aside a little the potatoes so that the hake is covered by the broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 4 or 5 minutes. Set aside and serve with some slices of hard-boiled egg. If you want to enhance the flavor of this stew add a little turmeric before putting the hake.
