Meanwhile, we boil the spaghetti (or the pasta of your choice) and cook the bacon pieces (you can use bacon, pork, ham, cooked ham... whatever you want, even your favorite vegetarian option) in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil.

Do not chill the pasta, and if you do chill it, heat it without the sauce on top. The sauce is made to be served at room temperature or cold. You can add a little pepper and a little parmesan, or the cheese of your choice.
