Cut the cabbage into thin strips and set aside in a bowl. Prepare the grated or finely chopped garlic.

In a frying pan put the tablespoon of oil and fry the garlic. When it is ready, turn off the heat and add it directly on the cabbage. Add to the pan (with the fire off) the vinegar, boil a little and then add it to the cabbage.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. I have added carrots but the original recipe does not include carrots.
