Peel the onion and garlic and chop them.

In a casserole with a spoonful of EVOO, over medium heat, fry the onion and garlic.

When the onion is transparent, add the wine and cook for 10 minutes after it starts to boil, to evaporate the alcohol.

After the time we pass it through the blender and add the broth, saffron, turmeric and pepper and while it starts to boil, we peel the potatoes and split them "chascandolas".

Once the broth comes to a boil, add the potatoes and cook for 25 minutes after the broth returns to a boil.

In the meantime, cut the hake into 4 cm pieces.

When the potatoes have been cooked for 25 minutes, add the hake and cook for another 7 minutes.
