Wash a whole chicken and cut it into pieces. Season with salt and pepper

Heat the oil in a casserole and brown the chicken. Meanwhile we cut the vegetables.

When the chicken is browned, add the vegetables, salt, pepper, turmeric and bay leaf and let them cook for 15 minutes.

We put the lid on and lower the heat and let it finish cooking, stirring from time to time. If we want it more brothy we can add a little water or chicken broth.
