Hydrate the dried figs with water for 30 minutes, or for 5 minutes in the microwave.

Once hydrated, remove the stalk and mash together with the dates, lemon juice, cinnamon and 5 tablespoons of water.

Transfer to a saucepan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. It can also be cooked in the Thermomix 10 minutes, 120°, speed 2.

Transfer the mixture to a jar and store in the refrigerator.
