The first thing I did was to heat the oil in a small saucepan. When the oil is hot, add the sifted flour (I used normal flour because I didn't have whole wheat flour, but you can use it perfectly well).

Stir until small lumps form and then add the vegetable drink. I used oatmeal because I like the flavor but you can use whatever you like.

You have to stir it constantly, I did it with a fork to help me with the lumps.

I added salt and nutmeg, which is obviously to everyone's taste.

When I had it, I passed it through a strainer in case there were any large lumps.
