Cook the lentils in salted water for 15 minutes, drain and set aside. Drain and set aside (you can also make them with dried peas, in that case they should be cooked for 30 minutes).

Poach the garlic and chopped onion in a frying pan. When it is ready, add the grated carrot and wait for it to soften. Add salt and pepper.

Add the lentils, turmeric and nutmeg to the pan and mix.

Turn off the heat, add chopped parsley and breadcrumbs. Mix and let cool.

Shape the hamburgers. There are 8 hamburgers of 150 gr. (you can freeze the ones you don't eat).

Brown the hamburgers in a frying pan with a little oil.
