Cook the beans with your favorite vegetables (you can also use a jar of cooked beans).

Drain the beans, saving the liquid for later use in the sauce.

Mash the beans and add flour to thicken. You can also use bread crumbs. I used approximately the quantities indicated but use whatever you need to get the texture you want.

Shape the dough with your hands.

Pass the meatballs through the frying pan to seal them. Make sure they are browned on all sides.

You can use the sauce of your choice, I made it with a sofrito of onion and mushrooms adding the liquid from the cooked beans and a little more water and then mashing.

Transfer the meatballs to the bowl where you are cooking the sauce and ready to serve!
