The scallops are better if they are fresh, but the frozen ones from Mercadona are good and cheap. So you let them defrost

Chop a couple of onions or as many as you want (I did one and a half for 5 scallops) and let them fry with a chopped garlic. When ready, add a couple of teaspoons of paprika and stir. You can add a little salt but it is not necessary.

Put the scallops in the shells and pour the mixture on top. If you find that you like it more doughy, you can blend it a little. And on top of everything add a few small pieces of ham or bacon, whatever you prefer.

Put a LITTLE bread crumbs and put it in the oven until it is golden brown. The latter is to make it crispy
