In the bowl where you are going to beat the ingredients, put the cooked chickpeas, if you are going to use canned chickpeas, wash them well beforehand. Add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, a clove of garlic and the spices sweet paprika, cumin, parsley and salt.

Add a splash of water to start beating, I do it with a hand mixer. As you beat, gradually add the rest of the water until it has a nice texture.

Taste it before serving and add what you feel it lacks, it can be more salt, or more water.
