Put the berries (or strawberries or blueberries) in a saucepan and the juice of half a lemon and put over medium low heat. Leave it for about 15/20 minutes, when you see that the berries are cooked soft, remove from heat.

Let it cool in the saucepan at room temperature and then if you don't like to find pieces, crush it and put it in a jar and keep it in the refrigerator.

This recipe does not need anything to sweeten because the fruit has its natural sugar which is enough to give it an exquisite flavor.
