Sautéed cardoons with egg

Take 1 onion, dice it or cut it into strips (to taste) and sauté it in a frying pan with 2 drops of olive oil.

When the onion is golden brown, add diced ham or a slice of serrano ham (it can also be done with turkey).

When we see that everything is integrated and browned, we add a jar of canned cardoons (Mercadona) and stir it so that they take the flavor of the onion and ham. Add salt and spices to taste (I have added oregano, garlic powder and parsley powder).

Preheat the oven to 180° min. Take a baking dish, put the sautéed cardoons in it and put a raw egg on top. We put it in the oven for about 10 minutes until we see that the egg white is opaque white.

Finally, this step is optional, add a slice of light cheese on top of the egg and leave it in the oven with heat only on top for 2 minutes until the cheese melts. Take it out of the oven and enjoy!
