First, to prepare the rice filling, cook the 150g of rice in 300ml of water for 5 minutes.

Add the butter and milk to the rice and simmer for about 45 minutes until the texture is smooth and thick.

Salt is added and the mixture is allowed to cool.

For the dough, mix the two flours with about 80 ml of water and a little salt until the dough is compact and knead for a while.

The dough is divided into 8/10 portions and each portion is rolled out with a rolling pin until it is quite thin.

Each portion already stretched is filled with the rice mixture (about 2 tablespoons) leaving space at the edges.

The dough is folded as shown in the photo so that the filling does not come out (with the fingers).

Place the cakes on a baking sheet with baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 260ºC (260ºC).

The most commonly used recipe is with rice stuffing but you can do the same with a fairly thick mashed potato stuffing!
