First we start by preparing the meat. In my case I have used mixed beef and pork. In a frying pan, pour a dash of olive oil and add the chopped vegetables. You can use the vegetables that you want and the quantity that I used is indicative.

Once the vegetables are almost done, add the minced meat and season with salt and pepper. Let the meat cook and add white wine and tomato to taste to create the sauce. Let it cook for a few more minutes.

Then prepare the mashed potatoes: cook the potatoes and mash them with a fork. Add a tablespoon of butter and warm milk little by little until the desired texture is obtained. It is important to stir well to avoid lumps.

Once the meat and the puree are ready, it is time to assemble the pie. In a baking dish, add the minced meat and the puree on top. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the oven to gratinate.

Let it rest for a few minutes and it's ready to eat!
