1 banana 3/4 cup vegetable drink (I used unsweetened vanilla oatmeal beverage) 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Vegetable shortening or coconut oil l 3 slices of bread, cut in half Toppings: Date and coconut syrup Raspberries Blueberries Poppy seeds Banana

In a blender add the milk, banana, spices and vanilla extract and blend until smooth.

Put the bread slices on a tray and add the mixture. Turn them over so that they are well soaked on the other side as well.

Place the pan over medium heat with a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter. When hot add the bread and brown on each side.

Put the torrijas on a plate and serve with your favorite fruit.
