Put a dash of EVOO in a frying pan and cook the garlic cloves with the skin on.

Remove the garlic cloves, take off their skins and add them to a mortar with a few strands of saffron, salt to taste and if you want a splash of white wine. Crush

Put the chicken in the pan and let it cook, when it is ready add the majao. ✔️ You can add about 14 pieces or as many as you prefer, more or less. ✔️ The chicken is from the butcher's shop. ✔️ You can use the type you want, for example turkey, but you have to let it cook longer.

When it boils add a handful of ground almonds, a little water to prevent sticking, pepper to taste, cinnamon stick from Ceylon and a bay leaf. Bring to a boil and that's it!!! 🙌

➡️ The almonds you can buy them already ground or if you have white almonds at home you can grind them yourself, I personally like it better since you have unground bits🤩. ➡️ The white wine is optional if you don't want to use it you can add for example a glass of chicken broth. If it's homemade better and if not then it must have good ingredients 😋 In fact, I would like to change the recipe and try it this way!
