Roscos de semana santa (Easter bread rolls)

Preparación de la receta

I put here the ingredients: - 500 gr whole wheat flour - 140 ml EVOO - 2 eggs - 1 /2 teaspoon ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon of aniseed - 3 cloves - zest of one lemon - 1 sachet of baking powder (15gr) -45 ml water

Crush the cloves in a mortar and set aside.

In a bowl add all the dry ingredients, including the cloves. And then the wet ingredients. As an exception, I have added panela, because the date paste makes them very soft. But each one with the sweetener that he/she wants. Form a ball and let it rest for about 15 minutes.

Take a portion of dough and form the donuts with your hands. First form a string, pressing the dough tightly.

And then join the ends together. Place them on the baking tray

With the oven already preheated, bake them at 180 degrees, 20 min. Let them cool and devour them!!!!
