Boil the hake together with the potatoes, bay leaf and an onion.

Once the hake is boiled, prepare the sauce.

For the sauce: Pour some oil in a pot, heat it and when it is hot add the chopped onion and garlic.

When the onion and garlic are golden brown, add the parsley and a glass of white wine.

Let the parsley cook together with the onion and garlic and when it thickens add 3 or 4 tablespoons (depending on how we want the sauce) of the water in which we boiled the fish and let it cook.

Whisk all the ingredients together and pour the sauce over the fish and boiled potatoes.
