Hydrate the dried tomatoes in water for at least 30 minutes.

Cut the onion into small pieces and brown in the pan with a little EVOO. Once it is done, add the figs cut with skin (previously well washed) and the dried tomatoes in pieces. Mix well and leave on low heat for about 20 minutes.

Bring the water used to hydrate the tomatoes to boil and cook the pasta for the time indicated on the package. Once cooked, drain the pasta, keeping a little of the cooking water. Mix it with the sauce and add the mozzarella in pieces. To serve, season to taste with salt and pepper and add oregano.
