Preparación de la receta
1
Cut the tofu block into thinner strips about the thickness of a finger and then cut them in half, so that they are about the size of a bite.
2
To remove the water from the tofu, put kitchen paper on the counter or on a plate, place the tofu on top, two pieces of kitchen paper on top, a plate and some weight on top. Leave for 10 minutes. Otherwise you can simply press with your hand.
3
To marinate the tofu: In a bowl or tupper mix the oil, soy, salt and spices. Take the tofu and pour it into the bowl, stirring it so that it is well impregnated and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
4
After this time we take it out of the fridge. In a bowl or deep dish we beat an egg (or you can mix the same amount of egg and chickpea flour if you are vegan) and in another one we add the breadcrumbs.
5
We pass each piece of tofu through the egg and then through the breadcrumbs and when we have all the pieces ready we put them in the airfryer or oven at 180º for about 15 minutes. I recommend turning them after 10 minutes so that they brown well on both sides.
6
I served it with some sriracha sauce with mayo and it was delicious 😍.
