Peel the nectarines and cut into small pieces. Cut the dates into small pieces.

Put it all in a casserole over medium high heat for 5 minutes and stir so that it does not stick, add the water and continue for 25 minutes over very low heat, stirring so that it does not stick.

In my case I grind it a little to make the jam creamier (for those who like it with chunks there is no need to grind it). When it is cold add it in jars and put it in the fridge.
