In a pot heat a little oil and poach the chopped onion with the bay leaves, the clove of garlic and the peppercorns. Add the diced tomato a few minutes after the onion and stir.

When the previous ingredients have poached add the cleaned squid and stir. Correct salt and pour a glass of white wine and a glass of water.

Cover the pot and cook over medium heat to evaporate the alcohol and thicken the sauce. When the desired texture is obtained, remove from the heat and serve on a plate.
