Preparación de la receta
1
Preheat the grill for 20 minutes over medium heat with the lid on. If you do not have a grill, you can also prepare these delicious hamburgers in a frying pan. It would only be necessary to fry them in a little butter for a few minutes on each side.
2
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, salt and pepper.
3
Chop the onion finely and cut the jalapeño into small pieces. Remove the seeds first if you don't want it to be too spicy. Add the onion and jalapeño to the meat and mix well with your hands.
4
With the meat, assemble one hamburger per portion. First shape them into a ball and then slowly press them down. If they are going to be grilled, make them a little thicker since they cook quickly.
5
Grill the burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side, depending on how you like the meat. Let them rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to settle.
6
While the burgers are on the grill, thinly slice the tomato and cut the avocado in half lengthwise. Remove the stone and scoop out the avocado flesh with a spoon.
7
To assemble the burgers, use 3 or 4 lettuce leaves per serving. Place the hamburger in the middle of the plate, place two slices of cheese on top of each one. Add a slice of tomato and some avocado and season with salt and pepper. Try to wrap the burger so that it can be easily grasped when it is time to eat it.
