Mix the milk and the juice of half a lemon, let stand for 15 min. This way we cut the milk to obtain buttermilk, essential ingredient for the soda bread.

In a bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt. Make a hole in the middle, as if it were a volcano and pour the buttermilk. Stir with a wooden spoon until the dough is thick. We pass to the worktop a little floured. In order not to use too much extra flour, I put a little oil on my hands and pour some more on the worktop.

Add well for a few minutes. Shape our bread and make some cuts on the surface in an X shape. We put in the oven preheated to 180C and bake 25-30min at 200C.
