Preparación de la receta
1
We make date paste, to sweeten the recipe.
2
Peel the apples and cut them in a moon shape, neither too thin nor too thick.
3
We put them in a pot over medium heat with cinnamon, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and two tablespoons of date paste. I also added another tablespoon of homemade fig and apple jam. Cook covered for 10 minutes until the apple is tender.
4
In a bowl prepare the crumble. We put the oat flakes, flour, butter and a couple of tablespoons of date paste (I put only one because then I put another one of jam). And mix everything to obtain a dough.
5
Place the apples in the mold and form the base and cover it with the crumble.
6
Bake on top and bottom at 180 for 20-25 min, I put 5 minutes more with fire only on top so that the crumble is more toasted and crispier.
7
Meanwhile in a saucepan we make the custard cream to accompany. Heat the milk, a couple of spoonfuls of date paste, the vanilla and two egg yolks over medium heat.
8
Quickly mix everything with the whisks so that it does not curdle. And stir until it thickens.
9
Serve the cake and serve with the custard!
