To cook the chickpeas: soak the chickpeas for a few hours.

Put water in an express pot and include the two cloves of garlic, a few hours of bay leaf and salt. Bring to a boil.

Add the chickpeas and cover the crock pot for about 1 hour and 20 minutes at medium/slow heat. Make sure they are soft. Reserve a little of the water where the chickpeas were cooked.

Squeeze half a lemon.

Now all that is left is to beat the chickpeas with the lemon, garlic, oil, sesame seeds, paprika and cumin. Add a little of the chickpea liquid until the desired texture is achieved and it is not too thick.

To serve, put a drizzle of oil and paprika on top and it's delicious! I accompany it with carrot sticks.
