Preparación de la receta

1

It is very important that it is fresh and whole milk. I use this milk from lidl that comes in 750ml, but you can use any 1l milk, so you don't have to complicate measuring.

2

Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat it. Be careful 👀 It is important that the milk does not boil, otherwise it will spoil everything.

3

We must heat the milk to about 80°C, if you don't have a kitchen thermometer you can do what I do. With my hands well cleaned, I put a finger in the milk and if I don't hold my finger in it, it means that the milk is already at the right temperature. Another way to know it is to look when some bubbles start to come out on the edges of the pan.

4

While heating the milk, put the yogurt in a bowl and stir it a little, to break up the form and make it easier to integrate.

5

Once the milk has reached the desired temperature, remove the saucepan from the heat.

6

And pour a little milk over the yogurt to integrate it well, once well mixed pour the yogurt into the saucepan and mix well with a whisk or whatever you have at hand. This process is quick, we do not want the milk to lose temperature.

7

Once everything is mixed, pour it into an airtight container, preferably a glass one, although I do it in a plastic one and nothing happens.

8

Close the container tightly and we will have to maintain the temperature for 24 hours to ferment and make the yogurt. To do this we can put the container in a plastic bag, close it, cover it with a thin blanket and put it at the bottom of a cupboard or even in the oven. We will let it rest there for at least 12h, I recommend to leave it for 24h, it is much better. And then 4 hours in the refrigerator. If we had a yogurt maker we would omit this step.

9

Our yogurt is ready to eat! Accompany it with a delicious homemade muesli 😋. For the little ones if you want to give it some flavor you can add a teaspoon of jam and it is delicious.

10

From this Yogurt you can make more, there is no need to buy yogurt every time you want to make it, this one is enough.
