Put a pot to boil with water with a little salt and oil. Add the pasta and wait until it is done (depending on the brand and type it will take more or less time, look at the package).

On the other hand, while the pasta is cooking, prepare a frying pan with olive oil and sauté the diced onion or "brunoise".

When the onion is a little browned add the clams that you have previously washed very well. Add salt and any spices you like (pepper, for example). In this dish it is advisable to add a chili pepper to give a spicy flavor to the dish.

Add the cherry tomatoes. Depending on the desired texture (more raw and crunchy or more soft and done) add them earlier or later in the recipe.

If you want to add white wine, now is the time. Half a glass is more than enough. If you do, cover the pan and let the alcohol evaporate.

Add the cooked spaghetti and mix well to combine. Serve with parsley or chives.
