Chop the garlic and onion and poach them in a generous spoonful of EVOO.

Add the chorizo and bacon, cut as desired, and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add the tomato and cook for another couple of minutes.

Add the jar of beans (whole without draining).

Add water (I use the same jar of beans), add salt if necessary and add a bay leaf if we like the touch it gives, it is totally optional. Let it cook for about 10 minutes.
