We prepare the ingredients and the quantities we will need of each one of them.

Cook the chickpeas so that they are not too soft (for salads I prefer the chickpeas to be a little hard).

Chop the lettuce, tomato, avocado, hard-boiled egg and grate the carrot (we can add more ingredients: onion, asparagus, corn...).

For the sauce, first beat the yogurt with half a clove of garlic (you can add it whole if you want it spicier). Then add the pepper and salt to taste, a tablespoon of lemon juice and two fresh basil leaves. Pour the 3 tablespoons of EVOO and the tablespoon of vinegar. Whisk just enough to mix everything together.
