Pour a tablespoon of coconut oil into the pan and add the three cups of rice, stirring well to coat the rice with the oil.

Add the whole can of coconut milk and stir well the leftovers with water to complete the total amount of liquid that is usually used to make white rice (I usually use twice as much and a little more) in this case as I have used 3 glasses of rice, I use 6 and a half glasses of liquid, counting in that amount the coconut milk which is a glass and a half, and 5 glasses of water.

Add salt to taste and let it cook for about 20 minutes or until we see that all the water has evaporated, at that time, turn off and cover for 5 minutes, and it can be served.
