Chop the onions and garlic, prepare a frying pan with EVOO, add the ingredients and let them cook a little. Cut the mushrooms into pieces and add them to the pan and season with salt and pepper. When they are a little done, add the slices of ham in small pieces and add almost all the pieces except some that we will reserve for decoration.

When everything is starting to brown it will be time to add the rice and in a couple of turns we add a splash of wine, when it is boiling we add a splash of milk and when it boils we add water until it covers the rice enough to be done.

We will let the rice cook and if we see necessary to add more water we will do it. When the rice is done we will decorate the dish with some slices of grilled ham. And finally we will serve the risotto in a deep plate and placing the pieces of ham on top.
