First peel and remove the stone. The weight indicated is peach flesh, skin and stone removed.

Cut the peaches into small cubes.

Put the cubes in a large saucepan and add the sugar.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is bubbling.

5. Lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches are soft and the mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Transfer the jam to a jar and store in the refrigerator. The jam will keep for up to two weeks.
