First, the dates are pitted and added to a saucepan with the milk and boiled for a few minutes until the dates lose their hardness. Let them cool a little and crush them.

Secondly, 4 apples are peeled, chopped and mashed. Once the apples, dates and milk have a homogeneous texture, add them to a bowl. To this bowl, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and eggs.

Once everything is crushed and mixed, put it in the desired mold. Peel the two remaining apples and cut them in thin layers to decorate the cake on top. To give a touch of color to the apple slices, add cinnamon (optional).

Oven preheated to 190 degrees between 55 and 60 minutes. When the knife is introduced to see the inside of the cake, it should not come out dry like a normal cake. Once the 60 minutes in the oven are over, let it rest and put it in the refrigerator until it cools down so the inside of the cake will "set" and become compact.
