"Peach and vanilla marmalade

Peel and cut the peaches (better if they are ripe) and put them in a pot together with the dates.

Cut the vanilla lengthwise, extract the "pulp" and add it and the pod to the pot.

Squeeze the juice from the lemon and add it.

Put it all on the fire, and go crushing the peaches and dates. Let it cook for about 15 minutes.

Extract the vanilla pod and put it all in a blender and... MIX!

Optionally, you could add a little agar-agar if you want it a little thicker / gelatinous.
