Preparación de la receta

1

First, if it is not, we debone the chicken (if they are thighs and that is not necessary) and spice them on both sides with ras el hanout, ground pepper, cumin, curry, Provencal herbs, garlic powder, a little turmeric and salt.

2

Put oil in a frying pan over high heat and when it is hot put the chicken well distributed and cover, let it cook for 5 minutes.

3

Meanwhile, we cut the vegetables (zucchini, garlic and carrot in half moons or slices, tomato in small pieces, onion in julienne). You can add other vegetables such as bell pepper, it is also very good. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.

4

After 5 minutes, add the vegetables and spices (by eye / to taste all the spices except the Provencal herbs, including the half stick of cinnamon and the ones we put on the chicken before) and the honey.

5

Pour water almost to cover (or cover if we like it more brothy) and turn the chicken to cook on the other side, add salt to taste.

6

When the water boils, lower the heat to medium/low and cover, add the previously drained chickpeas and cook for 15/25 minutes.

7

Serve with rice or couscous and a squeeze of lemon, enjoy! Let me know if you liked it 😊
