Put the berries and lemon in a saucepan over medium/low heat and while they heat up and melt, mash them well with a fork.

When it is hot, add the gelatin and stir well.

Strain the resulting mixture to remove the seeds from the berries. For the Cheescacke, add it on top of the cake and let it rest in the refrigerator until the gelatin sets.
